BIOGRAPHY

Maddie is an experienced communications and campaign strategist, skilled at messaging complex issues and securing coverage on a range of topics in all types of media. Leveraging media and message, Maddie works with Issues Management Group clients whose content spans healthcare, business and policy.

Maddie has a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives across Issues Management Group’s portfolio. Her achievements include serving as the lead media strategist on the successful 2018 “Vote No on 1 to Protect Patient Safety” ballot question on behalf of the Massachusetts Health and Hospital Association, and her skilled media relations strategy has resulted in coverage in key national outlets like The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CBS Sunday Morning, TODAY Show, MSNBC and more.

Maddie has been with the firm for four years. She previously served as the Policy and Advocacy Coordinator for Save the Harbor/Save the Bay, overseeing advocacy campaigns, policy initiatives, communications and corporate stewardship. Prior to this role, Maddie was a senior associate at Crossroads Campaign Solutions in Washington, D.C., where she executed campaign strategy for political and non-profit advocacy campaigns nationwide, including serving as grassroots campaign manager for a successful legislative initiative on behalf of the Hawaii Psychiatric Medical Association and serving as paid canvass director in Fulton County, GA, for the Georgia Democratic Party. 

Maddie has a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Miami University in Ohio.
