Tim Logan on Stories that Cut Through the Clutter

by Riva Cheses, Assistant Account Director

We recently had the pleasure of talking to The Boston Globe’s Deputy Business Editor, Tim Logan, to discuss what headlines are catching his attention right now, and how the unceasingly active Boston real estate market has evolved over the last few years. Logan has earned his reputation as one of the most esteemed real estate journalists in Boston having served as the Globe’s lead reporter covering housing and development for six years. Before the Globe, Logan worked as a business reporter at the Los Angeles Times, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and daily papers in New York and Indiana.

During our conversation, Logan shared what makes a development project stand out to him and his team in the newsroom, and how the pandemic and the rise of hybrid work has impacted the journalism industry. We also discussed how the development industry has approached efforts to increase diversity in the field, and whether real progress is being made.
