A renowned Liberal Arts college turned to our firm for communications counsel around the volatile issue of campus sexual assault. At the time, the institution was one of the 100+ schools being investigated for similar violations by the U.S. Justice Department’s Office of Civil Rights. As its strategic communications partner, we drafted internal and external communications, facilitated media relations, and provided thoughtful counsel throughout the months-long process.We worked closely with the College president, top administrators, internal communications, and development teams as well as general counsel to provide timely, accurate, and transparent updates through both tradition al and social media channels, preserving the College’s longstanding reputation with students, families, alumni, or donors.
